Well, it’s from British sources like the Daily Mail and the Sunday Mirror, so take all news with the necessary grain of salt (they call it salt over in the UK too, right?), but reports have it that 23-year-old diva and unexpected pop icon Adele has given birth to her first—a baby boy, courtesy of husband Simon Konecki. “Adele and Simon are ecstatic at their new arrival,” sources are reporting to the Mirror. “She was over the moon that they were expecting their first child together.” (Adele’s official comment, via spokesperson: “We are not releasing a statement at this time. No comment.”)
If true, all congratulations to Adele. She might not have scored a #1 hit in her home country with her Bond theme, but with the birth of her first-ever offspring, hopefully she can at least consider the month a wash.
