Justin Bieber found time to swag it out with Oprah in Kanye West’s hometown on Wednesday, filming an interview for an upcoming episode of her Next Chapter series. Curious as to how it went? Allow these enthusiastic tweets to get you all misty-eyed:
sitting here thinking how proud i am of @justinbieber and how he carried himself in that interview with @oprah – cant wait for u all to see

Some bold statements, sure, but Team Bieber has fully proven that nothing is possible if you don’t #BELIEVE. While we’d really like to know who came up with the campaign for the “Beauty and a Beat” video and what Bieber thinks about rumors that his dad Jeremy has nude photos floating around, Oprah stuck largely to the subject of Bieb’s girlfriend, Selena Gomez, in between shopping trips and a candlelit meal at O’s favorite Windy City restaurant. (We’re not complaining.)
“Sometimes we gotta take the back exits, but I never make [Selena] separate from me because I never want to make her think that I’m ashamed of her,” Bieber said in regard to the difficulties that come with dating another superstar. “A lot of guys do that, you know, especially in the business. They don’t want to be seen with the girl, so they’ll make them ride in separate cars and do all that getaway stuff. If we get away, you know we’re getting away together.” Sigh. Seriously, Bieber? And the cold blogger’s heart grew ten sizes that day.
The full interview debuts on Sunday November 25, the perfect dessert to your never-ending batch of Thanksgiving leftovers. It’s set to air around the world, in timezones that aren’t all recovering from a weekend of gluttony. As Oprah says, “it’s the biggest thing [she's] done since Michael Jackson in 1983. It’s around the world!” You’ll likely want to get thee to a working DVR or Tivo NOW—it’s never too early to press record.
